Mutazioni I is a one-of-a-kind ceramic vase from the Mutazioni collection, where transformation and material memory converge. Crafted in white stoneware clay, the piece integrates low-fired ceramic fragments that, when re-fired at high temperatures, melt into the surface, creating organic mutations of texture and finish.

The result is a vivid contrast between glossy, flowing drips and raw, structured clay—a dialogue between control and unpredictability, permanence and change. Each fragment, sourced from discarded red and white ceramics, carries traces of its previous existence, now reimagined as part of a new whole.
