Frammenti is a series of one-of-a-kind ceramic forms exploring transformation through fragmentation, reconstruction, and material reuse. Cast from liquid clay blended with reclaimed ceramic powder, each piece carries softly variegated surfaces inspired by the layered tonalities of cotto variegato. Broken ceramic remnants are crushed and reintroduced into the casting process, allowing traces of previous forms to reappear as mineral marbling, speckled textures, and flowing sediment-like patterns.

Originally formed as functional vessels, the pieces were later cut and reshaped into organic silhouettes that shift between sculptural object, serving surface, and modular wall composition. Their irregular contours and subtle tonal variations create an interplay between softness and material density, where each form retains visible evidence of alteration and recomposition.

The casting process produces unpredictable interactions between recycled ceramic particles and fluid clay bodies, resulting in layered surfaces that cannot be repeated. Some forms appear almost stone-like and quiet, while others reveal delicate movement, marbling, and granular textures dispersed throughout the surface. No two pieces share the same composition, scale, or material response.

Designed to exist individually or grouped into larger arrangements, Frammenti functions as an evolving collection of modular ceramic forms. Whether displayed on a wall, used as intimate serving objects, or incorporated into interior compositions, the pieces emphasize tactility, variation, and the expressive potential of reclaimed ceramic matter.
